Michele L. Locke

Michele has 22 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.  Some of her experience comes from her time as a former Associate Family Court Judge.  Michele left the Family Law bench in 2016 and returned to private practice to continue her passion in family law litigation.

Her expansive history includes overseeing a Domestic Violence Court as an Associate Court Judge, specializing in Protective Order Applications, divorce, custody, child support enforcement, and other family law matters that arose out of those Protective Orders.

Michele also led the Child Protective Services Court, addressing child abuse.

Prior to becoming a Judge, Michele ran a successful family law practice where she represented clients in all types of highly contested matters. In her present role Michele Locke is recognized as a thought-leader in her field, driven by a deeply personal mission. She is committed to helping her clients unravel the complexities of the court system, offering educational support to her clients who find it daunting.

Michele's passion since before law school has been family law. As a child of divorce, step-mother of two girls, and a mother to three boys, Michele understands all too well the dynamics and complexities that arise in a family law case.
